Here it comes. wait for it, wait for it! WAIT FOR IT!!!! AND......

BOOM!
Hi again every1. It´s wednesday witch means Maintence day.

So todays blog will be about progress again. This is part 2 btw.So if you didn´t read the first one i vould sudgest u go do that so you you know what im talking about.

So what i will talk about today is the progress impact on guilds in general.
I think i made it clear in the last blog about this that a guild needs progress. If it dont got an the guild will slowely die out.
So what does people count as progress these days? Well the only kind of progress people want and are locking for it 25 man progress. Since almost every player atm sees 10 man progress as pugable. Wich some of it isnt btw. Atleast not ICC 10. But people want the best gear and because of that they want 25 man raids. I know almost every player has heard the classic excuse why a person leaves a guild " I want to raid 25 man end game content"
This is where i alsmot facepalm. People want end game 25 man? By end game i mean Lich king normal and hardmodes 25 man.
How do they expect to join a "end game raiding guild" when they havent even cleared fester and rot on normal mode 25 man? what signals does this send a recruiting officer off an end game guild. They one shot these guys without even breaking a sweat.
And these players who leaves a guild who almsot got a 25 man team who is stabel becuase the guild doesnt got the manpower for a 25 man raid.
I wonder how people think here, "lets leave a guild because it doesnt got 25 mans going". How do they expect to get anywhere with that attitude? How do they think all these "end game" raiding guilds started? All guilds started of the same way. They could barely get people for a 25 man raid. Those guilds who pulled through every patch and lack of members situations allways had and still got atleast 20-25 people who are DEDICATED to the guild. What i want to know is where did the guild dedication go?
If you join a newely started guild, or any guild who cant get the manpower for 25 mans you should be dedicated to the guild. Because leaving the guild within 1 or 2 weeks isnt good for the guild moral. I guess most of you think "Why should i care? Im not a member of that guild anymore?" Well, this is an MMORPG, where you meet people in pugs all the time, or see them while you are questing or farming. How do you think they see a person who left their guild within 2 weeks with the reson "I want to raid 25 man not 10 man"? They vouldnt respond so friendly vouldnt they? atleast i vouldnt.
PPL also wonder why guilds got these long application forms or why they got a trial period for 3 weeks of time. Its because they want to find the DEDICATED players for their guild. They want to find the players who actually cares about the guild in first hand, not them selfs, the guild. And they want to find the players who doesnt leave for the reson "i want to raid 25 man". If you are lucky to get about 30-40 members who are dedicated to the guild. This guild can get far. They are considered a good guild. these are the guild people want to join. These are the guilds all the non dediated players want in. Why you might wonder. well the answer is simpel. They want to raid 25 man not 10 man. they cant wait 1 or 2 weeks for the guild to really get going. they want to raid 25 man now!

Ok this wasnt really about progress at all. Well a some was of it. and progress was in the back all the time. but i guess i got carried away.

well next blog will be on sunday i might continue on this topic. thogh i dont know.
Before i call it to an end ill throw in some stuff that got into the game this week.
The ICC attempt system has been extended to 35 attempts on end wing bosses and LK(hardmode that is)
And the ICC buff is online. this buff gives you +5% HP healing done and DMG done in ICC. it can be turned of by talking to your faction leader. This will make ICC a little bit easier.

Remember ppl. Dedication and bonding with your guild is worth more in the long run then the progress. We play this game to meet new people, to have fun. Not to make enemys because you didnt have any patient to wait for a 25 man team.

Sunday= something

Hi again!
Yes i know i missed another date. i was lazy ok? deal with it.

So since blizz have updated their stats change for cata, this entery wont be about progress as was planned, but about the stats change for cata.
And why not start things of with telling what stats will go away completely!

first of is Attack power. This stat will now be generated from STR and agi (2ap for 1 str point for an exampel) So less AP more Str/Agi.

Spell power will also be rmoved from Items. this stat will be gained from int when cata comes. 1 exception though. There will be SP as a stat on caster weapons! So it wont completely go away from items.

Armor pen. will goaway as well. but it will still excist in talents and abilites, such as rogues expose armor.

Block value is going away aswell since block now will have a fix dmg reduction (30%). will come to that later.

So, what gogin away completely then? well here is the list!

MP5! means that holy paladins and resto shamans will be redesigned to benefit more from spirit

Defense! Tanks will gain crit immunity from spells like frost preasence, righteous fury, defensive stance. THIS is a change wich we all have been waiting for a while! And finaly its here!

Spell ranks will go away. This will make lvling and geting spells easier. This mean that your spells will scale with your level. So say a heroic strike form a lvl 6 warrior will hit less then a heroic strike from a lvl 15 warrior.

Weapon skill is going away! Means you dont need to run around trying to hit mobs to max ur wep skills, now you can just charge that cultist without farming otehr mobs for a day to max ur new weapon skill.

Now for some basic info on the stats when 4.0 comes.

Spirit - Will only be found on healing gear! To do this balance druids and ele shamans will be redesigned, since they often share gear with healers. Blizz will also add other functions for casters to regen mana.

Str/agi/hit/expertise/crit - These will be the same. It will be harder to hit mobs though. Agi will give less crit

Stamina - All non-plate wearers will get more stamina to even out the health pools!

Int - Will give SP. Though it will give less int then it doest atm.

Block/dodge/parry - Ok here we got alot of changes. First, blocking an attack will now have a fixed dmg reduce. This will be 30% dmg reduce when blocking an attack. This change will remove the block value stat(as stated above).
Parry wont reduce the dmg takn by 100% anymore. This is changed to 50%
Dodge will still reduce dmg taken by 100%
So in conclusion
Dodge - 100% dmg avoided
Parry - 50% dmg avoided
Block - 30% dmg avoided

Armor - The mitigation wont change, though they will even out the difference between Plate, mail, leather and cloth armors so they become more balanced.

Resilence - Will no only affect players.

Here is a list of changes on gears!
If you are a tank (druids excepted), expect to see:
No more Defense on gear. Existing Defense becomes Dodge, Parry, or Block Rating.
No more Block Value on gear. Existing Block Value becomes Block Rating.
You’ll have as much Stamina as you’re used to, though you may notice your tanking plate has a bit less Stamina than a comparable piece of DPS plate, since we tend to take the gem budget out of your most attractive stat.
Bonus Armor on gear will go down slightly.

If you are a melee DPS class, druid tank, or hunter, expect to see:
A lot more Stamina. Bear-form Stamina scaling will be lowered as a result.
Strength if you wear plate. Agility if you wear mail or leather.
Existing Attack Power becomes Agility and Stamina.Armor Penetration becomes Haste or Crit.
No Intellect on melee gear. Hunters won’t need Intellect since they will no longer use mana. Shaman and Retribution paladins will get mana and spell damage in other ways.

If you are a DPS caster, expect to see:
A lot more Stamina.
All of your Spell Power converted to Intellect and Stamina.
No Spirit. You won’t miss Spirit, though, because you won’t need it for DPS or mana regen.

If you are a healer, expect to see:
A lot more Stamina.
All of your Spell Power converted to Intellect and Stamina.
Spirit instead of MP5. You’ll probably be happy with Spirit, though, because mana regen is going to matter more than it does currently. Healing paladins and shaman will benefit more from Spirit than they do currently.

If you are a Balance druid or Elemental shaman:
You will still share gear with Restoration druids and shaman.
Your gear will have Spirit on it. It won’t have Hit on it.
You will have a talent that converts Spirit to Hit. We will adjust talents accordingly so that you want about as much Spirit as, say, a warlock wants Hit.
Hit on rings and other such gear will still benefit you.
Raid buffs will no longer boost Spirit, so you shouldn’t find yourself unexpectedly over the Hit cap because of buffs.

So to rounds thins of id like to say a word of wisdom.
"Skills matters more then gear, Those two combined is priceless"
